Joint-Degree Programs
The College of Law collaborates with several other academic units at Georgia State University to provide six unique joint degree programs. These programs allow some selected course work in each program to satisfy requirements in the other. Applicants must be accepted by both colleges. Interested applicants should contact the appropriate colleges for application procedures and materials.
In conjunction with the Robinson College of Business students can earn both a Juris Doctor degree in Law and a Master of Business Administration in a field of their choice. Current program areas include: Management, E-Commerce, Computer Information Systems, and Marketing.
A joint degree program between the College of Law and the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies enables students to earn both a Juris Doctor degree in Law and a Master of Public Administration degree.
The College of Arts and Sciences' Philosophy Department and the College of Law also offer a joint degree program that leads to the awarding of both a Juris Doctor degree in Law and a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy.
The College of Law at Georgia State University and the College of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology offer a joint degree program that leads to the awarding of both a Master of City and Regional Planning degree and a Juris Doctor degree in Law.
A joint degree program between the College of Law and the Robinson College of Business’s Institute of Health Administration allows students to pursue joint degrees in law and health administration through either a JD/MSHA option or JD/MBA/MHA option.
